Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, former Prime Minister of Nepal and patron of the Progressive Democratic Party, has suffered a personal loss following the death of his father, Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai.
According to close sources, Bhoj Prasad Bhattarai passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 97. He had been facing health complications for the past few days and was receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital in Bansbari, where he breathed his last.
Pralopa leader Janmadev Jaisi informed that the final rites will be performed today at Pashupati Aryaghat.
