Nepali Among Three Killed as Missile Debris Hits UAE

According to the Ministry of Defence of the country, an Iranian attack has led to the death of a Nepali national in the United Arab Emirates. The ministry established that there were three casualties in the incident, who are a Nepali, a Pakistani, and a Bangladeshi citizen.

The officials also said that 58 individuals were slightly injured. The countries whose citizens are injured are the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Yemen, and Uganda, among others.

The ministry reported that the victims had fallen as a result of the debris of the intercepted ballistic missiles and drones falling on various locations of the country. The air defence response mechanisms of the UAE were able to shoot down the incoming threats, although peaceful fragments of the threats also led to the destruction of the civilian property that was minor to moderate.

Authorities reiterated that the military is now well-equipped to react to any form of threat. The government also assured people, foreigners, and tourists that their security is the priority of this country, despite the tension between neighboring countries.
